Poolside Happy Hours

Friday, August 27, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Hard to believe but, this one will be after school starts for many! These poolside gatherings are open to all members - full, associate, trial and rental. The pool should be open with guards on duty so children are also welcome. Please bring an appetizer to share and whatever you prefer to drink. Contact me if you know of others that want to join the club and all the fun we're having! Labor Day BBQ – September 6

Kids Games start at 3:30 pm and the BBQ will ready for grilling your entrée at 5pm. Lemonade and beer will be provided. Please bring your own place settings and a potluck item to serve 12 people, based upon the first letter of your last name: A-F Side; G-M Dessert; N-Z Salad.

Swim Lessons, Session 3, July 27 - Aug 13

SWCA swim lesson session 3 begins July 27 with a great set of experienced instructors. This is a great chance for kids to learn to swim or improve their strokes. Be sure to let your friends know about this great program. All lessons are private and will be offered Monday through Friday mornings. Lessons will begin at 9:00 am and will be offered in half hour increments. We will have two tiers of instructors again this year. The cost is $15/lesson for members and $20/lesson for non-members for Tier 1; $22/lesson for members and $30/lesson for nonmembers for Tier 2. The Order of the Dolphin

Kristin LaForge and Guy Quanrud were awarded the Order of the Dolphin for their continued commitment and dedication to the Dolphin Swim Team over the years. Their names will be placed on a plaque with other distinguished Dolphins from year's past. Thank you Kristin and Guy for being excellent role models for our younger swimmers on the team.

To better serve the needs of the kids in our community, SWCA is pleased to announce a pilot newsletter feature: The Kids’ Corner. Member kids who would like to publicize registration dates for their sports teams and other nonprofit clubs are welcome to submit that information for FREE. Submission deadline is always the 20th day of the month.
