What is Saratoga Woods Swim Club?
A place where a neighborhood of friends meet to have fun, swim, talk, and watch their children grow up in a healthy environment. Our swim team has been in existence for over 30 years. We have a history of coaches and parents working together to help our youth achieve their individual and team goals in a fun yet hard working environment. Our swim team competes during the summer season. Practices begin in April and end in July. Our swim team is for youths between the ages of four through eighteen. Saratoga Woods Swim Team participates in Junipero Serra Swim League. Every year we compete at League Championships which are held traditionally at Stanford Avery Stadium. We have two professionally trained coaches to train our swim team. Both coaches have competitive swimming backgrounds. Our professionally coached swim team fosters a healthy environment where children of all ages and abilities build self-esteem and a winning attitude for life. This is achieved through daily practice sessions, Saturday swim meets, team fun days, parent participation, and weekly achievement awards. What type of activities does this Club have to offer its members?
Recreational Swimming
Our large and recently renovated pool provides the proper competitive environment for our swim team members due to its 25-yard, 5 lane size, but also provides additional benefits to our recreational swim members such as:
Our lifeguards are on duty during the summer season to ensure our swimming policies are maintained for the safety of all swimmers. Our pool is surrounded by decking, lounge chairs, and tables with large umbrellas for pool side socializing in a relaxed setting. Swim lessons
Our Qualified and Experienced Swim Instructors teach individuals of all ages in group or private lessons during the Summer season. Here are just a few of the reasons you might want to take swim lessons:

Saratoga Woods Swim Club is run by its member-volunteers, and is operated by a Board of Directors, elected annually by members. What makes Saratoga Woods Swim Club unique is that in addition to the contributions from the Board, all members are required to volunteer for Social Events, semi-annual Clean-Up days, serve on the Board, and take an active part in making this not only a club, but a community. How do I become a Member?
